D': / T_T / ;-;

I didn't make it....-sniffles- I spent the last 5 or 4 hours of the Read-A-Thon sleeping. T-T That means nobody won't come to my blog anymore...And that means I failed...It was just.....Laying on my oh so comfy bed reading made me tired and.....The beginning pages of The Clone Codes weren't all that interesting...;-;
Overall I'm just sad that I feel asleep, I mean I tried so hard and I truly wanted to stay awake but then the last thing I remember is reading words from The Clone Codes and then poof....I fell asleep....Anyways if the commentors/cheerleaders for the Read-A-Thon are still here I thank you oh so much for supporting me! I would give something out to you like a gift or something but alas I hardly have an money...Unless you want a drawing of mine. =D >.> <.< >.> <.< And If you're not here I more or less look like a blabbing idiot -.-' Blogging to herself for no obvious reason....Yeahhh...

Mid-Event Survey:
1. What are you reading right now?
The Maze Runner (still x.x')
2. How many books have you read so far?
None completed working on one
3. What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon?
If I finish The Maze Runner I hope to start The Clone Codes
4. Did you have to make any special arrangements to free up your whole day?
Nope, I am more of a go with the flow type of girl
5. Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those?
Chatting with online friends...I chatted with them which made me lose more reading time..
6. What surprises you most about the Read-a-thon, so far?
I never thought it would be this hard to juggle being a cheerleader and reading at the same time. Oh! And staying off of the computer while reading, or getting off the computer after I update my status
7. Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year?
Not really..Well not that I can think of at the moment but I believe there is a way that there is a way to improve the Read-A-Thon
8. What would you do differently, as a Reader or a Cheerleader, if you were to do this again next year?
Set out a more strict schedual for myself, and actually keep track of time of the time I spend on the computer and how many hours I spend reading
9. Are you getting tired yet?
Not really. I'm more of a night-owl then anything...
10. Do you have any tips for other Readers or Cheerleaders, something you think is working well for you that others may not have discovered?
Well to be honest, I have no good advice that majority of the people who participated in the Read-A-Thon already doesn't know, and so at this current moment no I don't.

Overall this equals an epic fail...Considering I haven't really been cheering people on all that much and I haven't read all that much either... Pfftt... I don't have the right to call myself a good reader...

6th Hour Mini-Challenge:

I froze in fear. I knew what was coming yet I didn't avoid it. Simply because I saw myself inside of the tiny little boy laying before me, and it made sense to have him suffer the same way I suffered. Still I felt my heart race and tears streaking my face. He simply seemed too innocent to die yet. I extended my hand out to the boy while keeping a smile on my face and held a sympathetic look in my eyes. He accepted, and I brought him to a location where he would be given a new home

Meme (1st hour mini-challenge):
Where are you reading from today? The Maze Runner by James Dashner

3 facts about me …
I'm a 13 year old girl
This is my first 24 hour read-a-thon
I enjoy writing and reading

How many books do you have in your TBR pile for the next 24 hours? 3 or so

Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, or number of comments on blogs)? Try my best and finish as many books as possible/read as many pages as possible

If you’re a veteran read-a-thoner, any advice for people doing this for the first time?
I'm not a veteran read-a-thoner =P

2nd hour mini-challenge:
Considering I'm 13 years old I'll go back in time around 5-7yrs of age..Ah childhood books, although my memory is some-what blurry I think my favorite book as a child was Disney Princess' books. You know the ones with Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora, Belle, and then there was Thumbellina. If I remember correctly my mother read that to me when I was younger. Oh I remember! When my mother and I were packing for our move we were looking through some of my brother's and my baby stuff. She brought out some books on learning how to write, and go to the bathroom. There was one small book in particilar that I enjoyed having read to myself.. It was a book about counting and it had angels. Explains why I like angels know though at the age that I am. As far as the books I have planned to read currently at the moment for the Read-a-Thon. I plan to read YA novels. Simply because I am a YA. I enjoy any type of genre, and I'll read almost anything.

24hr Read A-Thon

Woo! I'm ready for tomorrow. The only major problem I see is eating, and possible sleeping. I'm only on Chapter 9 of The Maze Runner by James Dashner, and I plan on finishing it tomorrow. So far I only have two other books set out to read. Which I think I'll more or less likely finish tomorrow, which means I might have to spend some of that time running over to the libary and getting some books. D:  On the other hand I hope to stay up all night doing something I love, reading! Good luck, to all those who are reading this and participating too!

Ello dere my lovelies~

Mhmmm....Oh hello. A little info about this Blog and Myself, That One Girl. Before I start anything I hope to start writing blogs daily. First off the title of this lovely blog here has a meaning behind it. I decided it would be clever that if I did possibly continue blogging until I am older to keep to something casual, hence came 'The Day in the Life...' Next I thought to be somewhat descriptive, bringing along 'of a Blossoming Girl in a Rose.' Now I know that doesn't make sence.

My main idea was to make a way that people I know in real life could read this and understand it is me, and yet at the same time I'd like to allow my online friends to know who I am also. My online nickname is known as Rose, based off of my yahoo e-mail adress which was created when I was younger. This brings along the Rose into the title.... As for Blossoming Girl, that's what I view myself as, a teenager blossoming into a young adult. As for my signature 'That One Girl' it ties in with my blog title and explains me at the same time. I'm a bit of an outcast, loner, and one of those people that they know my name but don't know my personality. Oh I'm also a little random at times. =P

Now to tell you a little about myself, currently I'm 13 years old and I'll be 14 on November 27th. I currently live in Iowa, and one of my dreams is to travel the world, which I highly doubt I'll finish that dream. I created this blog for the Dewey's 24 hour Read-a-Thon. I also enjoy meeting new people. Overall this blog will be used as a journal. I believe that pretty much wraps up this blog. I'll post one tomorrow to explain a little more about myself. Don't worry not all of my blogs are going to be like this. It'll just be like this for the first few.
